Public Will Building & National Movements
Weathers Strategy Group is known for values-driven communications that help national movements and multi-state campaigns
align partners, clarify the narrative, and build public momentum. From message development to activation, we help to build
public-facing initiatives that inform, inspire, and mobilize. See a few examples of our campaign clients below:
Weathers Strategy Group partnered with Complete College America to strengthen storytelling and visibility for the CCA Accelerator, a national initiative that supports more than 100 institutions working to improve college completion outcomes for low-income students and students of color.
We provided strategic communications consulting and cohort-based planning to help institutions align around a shared narrative, clear messaging, and consistent terminology. Our work included gathering and shaping student success stories; developing internal and external communications that elevated institutional transformation; creating templates and toolkits to make implementation easier; and delivering technical assistance to support learning across cohorts.
We also supported institution-level campaign execution with digital and social content, high-impact visuals, and ready-to-use materials, including an updated one-pager, a slide deck template, and talking points, along with ongoing coordination through regular check-ins and documentation.
Weathers Strategy Group supported Credential As You Go (CAYG),
a national initiative and movement led by SUNY Empire State University,
as a creative, communications, and digital partner, translating complex research into clear, accessible thought leadership for the learn-and-work ecosystem.
WSG provided project leadership and end-to-end brand and platform support, including branding, domain management, website development, content creation with freelance writers, publication production, press release support, CRM implementation, and ongoing services to strengthen CAYG’s visibility, engagement, and ability to share tools and resources with educators, employers, and policymakers.
This work was part of a federally funded Phase II effort supported by the U.S. Department of Education’s Institute of Education Sciences. WSG participated as a SUNY Empire State University subcontractor and federal subrecipient, meeting required vendor registration and federal reporting standards associated with the grant.
Weathers Strategy Group served as a core partner in building
and sustaining the Learn & Work Ecosystem Library, initially through
The George Washington University and then through 1EdTech.
The Library is a web-based, open-access resource that collects, curates, and coordinates information across the learn-and-work ecosystem.
WSG provided strategic communications and operational integration support, including narrative and message development, thought leadership, and counsel to strengthen visibility and shared learning for
this national, cross-sector initiative. WSG also supported the Library’s
day-to-day infrastructure through fiscal operations, communications, and marketing leadership, including vendor coordination and payment administration, plus technology and administrative support.
The Library has publicly recognized Lucia Weathers and WSG for
their leadership and partnership in helping create the Library, build
its foundation, and support its growth.
What’s Your W?! is Weathers Strategy Group’s values-first campaign that invites people to name the “W” that matters most to them, whether that is wellness, workforce, women, weather, or any other priority that starts with the letter "W."
It is built on a simple belief: when we lead with shared values, we create common ground and open the door to real conversations and real change. Through stories and partner activations, WSG will spotlight what people care about most and what they want to protect and build.
As part of a broader tagline initiative, the campaign also signals that individuals (or organizations) can bring their “W” (their passion or their priority project) to Weathers Strategy Group, and the firm can help turn it into a clear strategy with measurable operations and communications results.
The campaign is planned to launch soon, beginning with a soft launch
that includes a landing page, a creative toolkit, and an initial set of
featured stories.
